Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday all!
Getting the blog post up a little late today! Monday always hits hard around here, and the Pre-K student just wanted nothing to do with the day. Luckily she cheered up and we got out the door on time!

Today I am recapping our weekend, which was full of errands and birthday party fun but ended with just staying in our pjs! :)

Friday was super chilly to start the day, and since hubby was off work, he took this girl to school for me! I wish I had her enthusiasm at 6:45 in the morning!

This little and I snuggled and watched cartoons,

and hubby brought me a coffee!

We had some errands to run before picking up Char from school, so while we were downtown we also got to look around and stop and read some of the historical plaques we haven't been able to stop and read! I love living in a place where so much history took place :)

We ended up at the German store and bought some cheese, an ice cream sandwich and some chocolate, because German chocolate is just the best, and then went to pick up Char. Then it was Pizza Friday and a movie before bed! The perfect end to our week!

Saturday started out rough. Hubby doesn't have many days off, and he was the one driving the van instead of me, and ended up not only taking my car to work but also my van key as well. We had a birthday party to go to Saturday afternoon and I had no idea how we were going to get there! Luckily one of my best friends lives in our neighborhood and gladly let us get a ride from her!

These kiddos were so excited to be on the farm! Riley wouldn't ride the horse but he enjoyed looking through the fence and watching

and my brave girl had such a blast riding the horse! She was super proud of herself too!

The kiddos fed the goats,

and pet the sheep and other goats

we looked at horses and fed them hay

and this little boy was obsessed with giving the ponies hay

we rode the barrel ride a dozen times

and took pictures with our besties!
They ran around and around and ate all the pizza and cake and were so excited to just be outdoors and playing with animals and with their friends! We have been so busy, that we have not been able to hang out with our friends since before Christmas so it was much overdue! Bedtime was super easy that night, we all passed out immediately :)

Sunday I only took one picture and not even a good one at that ha

It is blurry because it was just that kind of day! I had a rough day yesterday, as far as pain goes! I woke up feeling like I had been run over by a train, I was sore and just could barely walk! 36 weeks pregnant and just ready for baby to come! We spent our day in my room watching movies and cartoons, eating all the food and just lounging. Laundry was done for things that had to be done, but other than that everything remained untouched! I definitely needed a day to just sit and rest, and thankfully the kids were in that kind of mood too! We had a very lazy Sunday, and are all well rested today, even though 6 am came super early still!

So there you have it! We had such a good weekend! It was just what we all needed, a day at the farm and then a lazy day to make up for all the fun! Lots of stuff going on this week, including my growth scan on Wednesday  to see just how baby is doing! So excited! :)
Hope everyone had a good weekend and are having a great Monday!

Thanks for stopping by!

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...
