Friday Favorites

Happy Friday and February 1st!
So glad it is finally Friday! We had a full week of school and for some reason, whenever we have our first full week back after a four day week, it seems to just drag on!
Today I am joining Andrea, Narci, and Erika and posting my Friday favorites for the week!

Monday we received our favorite kind of mail, new books! :) My mom reads to the kids every night over FaceTime, and this week she sent some new books for the kiddos!

They were so excited they immediately started reading them! Reading is a big favorite in our house, if we aren't playing with toys then we are reading our favorite books!

Tuesday was freezing cold, and this little in his leather jacket is a favorite for this mom. Not only did he not fight me putting it on, but he looks just so darn cute wearing it!

We have spent a lot of time upstairs and a favorite for this guy is laying on my bed and watching cartoons.

I love watching this little boy play with his toys! He loves to set up his action figures and drive his cars around, just chatting to himself as he plays!

Rubik's cubes are a big favorite in this house, and while Ri doesn't quite understand how to do one, he loves to carry it around and show it to everyone we pass.
I have gotten two sides done a few times but never the entire thing. Thats on my list of to-do's this year, complete a Rubik cube!

Last for this Friday are these two and their smiles! Not quite sure where they get so much energy so early in the morning, but whenever we start the day off with both of them smiling and happy it is going to be a great day and that is definitely a favorite!
Not having to fight or argue or drag two toddlers around because they are happy and smiling is always a good thing!

I had my last growth scan this week as well, and baby is healthy with is the most favorite of all! He is weighing 8 pounds already and I still have a good two weeks to go, which means this momma is hurting but I am grateful for a healthy baby and a healthy pregnancy this time around! Counting down the days until little on is here!

So there you have it! My Friday favorites are always so random, but definitely full of my kiddos, and I am so blessed to have these moments with them!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and a great weekend!
Thanks for stopping by and see you back here on Monday!

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
