Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday!
We made it through another long week! It has cooled down here this week and we started out the week with lots of rain! Then we had sickness, missed class pictures, Valentine's Day, and lots of sunshine later in the week to help pull us through! It's been a fun one!

Today I am linking up with Andrea, Narci, and Erika to show some Friday Favorites from the week!

One

This boy was happy to have sunshine and cool weather this week! We got to sit in the parking lot with the windows down before picking Char up and he enjoyed looking out his window and waving to people!

Two

Watching the sunset from my front porch is my favorite! We have the perfect location for our house, because they won't be building anymore houses across from us, so we get the perfect views to watch the sun go down, and the sunsets this week for my favorite for sure!

Three

Crafting with my girl is always a favorite! I am not very crafty but I try and this girl wanted a unicorn for her Valentine's box! First Valentine's for this girl and she was super excited!

Four

I love fresh flowers! I always have just loved having a vase of fresh flowers for my table, so the roses my husband brought home for me are the perfect addition to my table this week! Definitely a favorite for sure, especially since Roses are my favorite flower!

Five

I have been craving fruit this week, especially strawberries. I didn't tell the husband what kind of fruit I was craving, so when he walked in with some fresh strawberries I was super excited! These strawberries are the best I have ever had, they were so fresh and just super yummy that I almost ate the entire carton by myself!

 Six

Artwork from my kiddos is always a favorite and the Valentine's artwork that Char brought home this week has been my favorite so far! She is getting better and better at writing, and to see that tying in with her artwork is just so awesome!

So there you have it! Random mixture of favorites!

Midweek Char came down with an illness, and while we still don't know what she got, she recovered quickly and only missed one day! I was glad she only missed one day, but unfortunately she missed class pictures which I know she doesn't really mind, but this momma is a little sad that her first year of school she won't have a class picture! But hey, she has many more years so I know we will have plenty of other opportunities! I am glad she recovered quickly and is not sick still, because fevers are just awful when your littles are so miserable because of them!

Baby #3 will be making his appearance into the world this weekend, and I am so ready for the cuddles!
I will be taking next week off to get into the routine of having a new baby, but will post an update on how everyone is later next week, just to update everyone and introduce our new little!

Have a great Friday and a wonderful weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
