Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday Ya'll!

I don't know about ya'll but daylight savings is completely throwing me off! With it being daylight at 7:30 last night to it being pitch black taking Char to school this morning my body clock is off, but only a little since I am up at all hours with a new baby!

Three weeks ago we welcomed our newest little, and even though I am exhausted I am enjoying the cuddles and snuggles from our newest little guy! We are slowly getting into a routine, and the oldest two are still enjoying little Skyler still so that is always a positive sign! I for sure though Ri was going to lose it because he doesn't have mommy all to himself, but all the messes and cartoons are helping him through it! Plus I am starting to be able to spend some time with Ri once Skyler has eaten and can be put down!

This weekend was a good one! I got to have some one-on-one time with my girl, and got to spend some time cleaning up my house a little, and Scott made some delicious Chili that will last us a while so I don't have to cook for the next couple of days! Plus we got to spend some good time outside because it was absolutely gorgeous and warm here! So we soaked up all the sunshine we could before it gets rainy and cold!

Friday

this little is starting to stay awake more often, but only for 45 mins to an hour spurts! Cannot believe he has been here for three weeks already! Time is just flying by!

We played outside the minute we got home! They played soccer, drew pictures with chalk and just ran all the crazies out! It was warm and just felt good to be able to play after a long and cold week.

This girl has been begging to feed baby brother, so that is exactly what she did! I was there by her side the whole time, but she did such a great time and was so proud of herself!

Saturday

Early Saturday this girl and I went to Walmart for a few things and because we have a McDonald's in ours we even stopped for a quick breakfast date! The boys stayed home with daddy and it was just girl time, and she was so excited! It also felt good to have some time with just my girl, because I know she misses her mommy especially now with a new baby around!
I am going to try and make it a habit to spend some special time with both Char and Ri separately at least once a month!

After we got back these two played, and played and played! We made a complete mess of their bedroom and then ran around outside for a few hours too!

This little got to play too! He loves this giraffe, and its so funny to watch him talk to it!

Sunday

Sunday Scott had to go back to work after having Saturday off, so we played with all the toys in the living room and watched cartoons to start off our morning! This little boy pulled out his trains, connected them and was pulling them around the table in one big line!

Then it was outside because you cannot have an 80 degree day and not be outside!
These two played soccer, played catch, drew with chalk and ran their little hearts out

and then we went for a bike ride/ walk! These two had such a blast, and I even enjoyed it, so we might just make it an afternoon thing now that it is getting warmer and stays light outside longer!

So there you have it!
Lots of outside time this weekend because it was much needed after being so cold all week and lots of snuggles and play time!
We have a busy week ahead, since Charlotte is turning 5 tomorrow and family is coming into town Saturday! Lots of cleaning and celebrating to do! Yay!

Have a great Monday and see you again soon!
Thanks for stopping by!

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...
