Happy Wednesday everyone!
This past Saturday we went to the Strawberry Festival and it was so much fun! The kiddos got to run around and play and were worn out by the end of the day! We went with some friends and it was just the perfect outing for our Saturday!
We started out by walking around to get a feel of what all was there. So we started out by looking at the pigs,
and boy were they loud and dirty
The kids then begged for the bouncy house, so they spent a good 30 to 45 minutes on the two bouncy castles and had such a blast!
Once our friends arrived we walked around and went into the corn box
and then headed to the petting zoo where the kiddos fed
goats and cows.
This cow was trying to pick up the feed that had fallen right outside of the gate
and this one stuck her head through the gate to get a better angle.
Riley is normally very shy around animals, but the past couple times we have been to a farm he has loved it, and while he was iffy around the big cows, he loved the baby cows!
My goofy girl, loving life :)
Skyler slept the whole time we were at the farm, except when he needed to eat! His little hand is adorable :)
There were also some tricycles and the kids loved riding around on them. Riley still doesn't peddle a bike so my friend went around with him since I couldn't leave Skyler since he would be up to eat soon!
We also got some fresh strawberries and homemade strawberry ice cream thanks to our friends and jumped in the bounce house again, and then called it a day! The kids were sweaty and dirty and upset we were having to leave but we had such a good time! I am already planning on when we can go back and pick the strawberries ourselves since I know the kids will absolutely love that, and if we don't make it before end of strawberry season, I am already planning on going for some blueberries, since our blueberry bush in our yard is still so new :)
We had a fun busy day at the farm Saturday! I love exploring new places with my kiddos and this place definitely lived up to its name! We had a blast, even baby Skyler and it was a lot of fun to watch the kids interact with their friends and with all of the different farm animals! Definitely planning on making this a yearly tradition!
Thanks for stopping by!
