Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday!

This weekend was one of the best we have had so far, because we had absolutely no plans!
We did not go anywhere and it was wonderful! We soaked up the sunshine, and enjoyed lots of cuddles when it was raining in the afternoon! I thrive in the warm weather and the sunshine, and it was so nice to just be able to not worry about leaving the house, and just really enjoying time with my sweet babies!

Friday before going in for the night I captured this picture of the rain clouds moving in after a full day of sunshine and warmth! I love the beautiful view from my front porch and just feel blessed to be living this life!

Saturday
Cuddles with my sweet little!

I took some time to play soccer with my girl, who absolutely loved spending some one on one time with mommy! The boys were inside with daddy chilling and napping and I just took 30 minutes after pulling weeds to just spend time with her! It felt good to just kick the soccer ball around again!

After we came in, I had a picture from Char! She loves to draw and is getting better and better, so the little things she draws for me I absolutely love! She could draw for hours and hours and I'm pretty sure she did draw for hours and hours this weekend, just split up in different times!

My middle and my little! Love my boys so much!

By 6:30 these two were cuddling with mommy, which they haven't really had much of a chance to do with Skyler being born, and both fell asleep! Running around all day can do that to you, especially when you get up at 5:30 am. Riley stayed asleep until I carried him to bed and stayed asleep all night, whereas Char was up to talk to Mimi but then went straight to sleep after.
Its always a good day when your kiddos fall asleep before bed time right?!

Sunday

Oldest and little! Char is the best big sister and is always asking to help me with her little brother! He had just finished eating and I put him down for some play time and I saw her holding his little hand and just chatting away! It was the sweetest moment!

It was supposed to be storming and rainy all day Sunday but it was warm and beautiful out so we of course soaked it all in!

This little guy got into the rocking chair and was so proud of himself! He sat and rocked and rocked and kept saying "look mom I'm doing it," and would smile so big! :)

It got up into the 80s, and so we were going to bring out the slip and slide, but I don't have the air in my lungs to blow up and entire slip and slide by myself  and I also I don't have an air pump in order to blow it up, so therefore it will have to wait! Instead I just sprayed them down with the hose and  they had such a blast running in and out of the water, so they forgot about the slip n slide!

After a little bit of drying, we went in to change clothes and get nice and cozy!

Snuggles while watching a movie

and then the third joined and mom had a pile of kiddos on her!
Who needs a blanket when you have lots of kiddos right?!

After dinner it was bath time for the oldest two and then play time before calling Aunt Kayli and Mimi and then heading to bed!

Once the kiddos were in bed, Skyler took a small nap until 9:30  and then it was bath and bed for him but I had put my phone away to cuddle Skyler so I didn't take anymore pictures!
So all three kiddos are nice and clean to start this week out strong!

It is always nice to be able to spend the weekend recharging our batteries and not running around like crazy chickens all day! We soaked up some sunshine, got to spend some good time with daddy, and got to cuddle and play and make a disastrous mess of the living room, but most importantly we got to spend time together! It was wonderful and just what our family needed!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
We have lots of rain heading our way, so this week should be interesting! I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!
Thanks for stopping by!

Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
