Memorial Day Favorites

Happy Friday! We survived! YAY :)

Today I am posting all of my favorites from Memorial Day Weekend! My sister came down and visited so we had such a good weekend catching up and getting to play! Saturday was a chill day, my sister and her boyfriend and their two dogs got here and I ran to the grocery store but other than that nothing happened! Sunday we headed to the beach!

Then his feet touched the sand and he was done! He was also hungry and wanted to go back into the water, so he threw a small tantrum but was fine after that

Our first beach trip of the summer was a success! The kids were so excited and did such a great job listening and not going too far without someone with them! It helped to have extra hands for sure!

When we got back we started prepping for dinner! When Hubs got home we grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, steak, and corn and it was so good!

We made a flag out of yogurt as well, which was delicious too! We reflected, remembered, and ate all the delicious food

Monday my sister and her boyfriend were leaving, so i pulled out the slip and slide so they could have some fun and also be distracted when the time came for Aunt Kayli to leave

We played for a few hours before it got too hot then came inside

and cuddled up on the couch for a movie and snacks.

So there are my favorite photos from our weekend! We had such a good time just relaxing and playing and going to the beach! It is definitely a lot more work with three kiddos, but definitely worth it! Love my little family and so blessed to have it!

Some much needed family fun!

It's been a bit hectic the last few days! We got up and went to church Sunday morning for the first time at a new church. The pastor was so funny and made a new church less scary for me! Then Charlotte went to Mimi's for a few hours and Scott and I ran a few errands, cleaned out the truck, and went to the pool hall to play a few rounds before going to get her. I don't know what it is about the pool hall but it always is a place we enjoy going, without baby of course! After we picked Charlotte up, we went home and relaxed for a few hours and watched tv and played COD:ghosts!( Another one of our couple things) Then I packed a bag for Charlotte, did Scott's laundry, and cleaned up the house. Finally I packed my bag. Why am I packing bags and cleaning up the house you ask? Well, Charlotte and I are with Scott this week going to Florida. Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that! ...

Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday Ya'll! I don't know about ya'll but daylight savings is completely throwing me off! With it being daylight at 7:30 last night to it being pitch black taking Char to school this morning my body clock is off, but only a little since I am up at all hours with a new baby! Three weeks ago we welcomed our newest little, and even though I am exhausted I am enjoying the cuddles and snuggles from our newest little guy! We are slowly getting into a routine, and the oldest two are still enjoying little Skyler still so that is always a positive sign! I for sure though Ri was going to lose it because he doesn't have mommy all to himself, but all the messes and cartoons are helping him through it! Plus I am starting to be able to spend some time with Ri once Skyler has eaten and can be put down! This weekend was a good one!
