Spring Break Part 1

Happy Tuesday Ya'll! I hope everyone is having a fantastic beginning of the week! With the month of May comes a crazy busy schedule! We have something planned every day this week expect Friday and something every weekend in May! I'm excited to stay busy and to be going through this phase of life. Char is about to "graduate" from Pre-K, I say graduate loosely since she isn't actually going through a graduation ceremony, but she is getting a certificate and having a little class party!

So Today I am recapping Spring Break, which for us was the last full week of April. The day of Easter we traveled up to my mom's and the next day we started our Spring Break off in the dentist office.

My big girl! She is so brave, plus when you grow up at Mimi's work for the first two years of your life you just know what to do :P

this little guy did so good, but needed mommy to sit with him

after dentist appointments we had a picnic lunch on the porch and played outside for about an hour

then it was nap time! Which Riley never naps, so it was nice for the week to have him nap and get a little brain break halfway through the day!

After naps we played and played

and then went for a quick walk up the street!

The next morning, we wore socks on our hands for breakfast

and smiled at Mimi before she left for work

Today I was most excited because we were going to the park

and my kids love to be outside! They were running from sign to sign saying look mom! It was the sweetest :)

And this little guy was just chilling out in the stroller

They built a new playground at the Botanical gardens and I was so excited to explore it. The kids went with Mimi and Grandpa while they were up here one weekend with them, so I was so excited to see it with them!

These two played hard

in the squirrel nest

and in the treetop swing

and this guy enjoyed some time with mommy out of his seat

love my three babies

She wanted a picture on the acorn :)

and we cooled off in the sprinkler mushrooms

Char took a picture of mom and baby Skyler

and this boy overcame lots of fears and walked over the rope bridge

they each took turns twirling each other

and were so dizzy by the end of it!

I love the moments where we will just be walking along and they hold hands! I love them so much :)

After we got back from the park, we took naps, and then went straight back outside where this one climbed her favorite tree

and he tried to climb the tree

and this little guy got some Mimi time and smiled at momma!

You can't go to Mimi's and not take a picture in the grass! This little love bug celebrated his first Easter this year, so we captured a few pictures in his Easter bib! Love this little :)

So that was the beginning of the week for Spring Break! Just two days, but full of lots of fun!
Part 2 will be coming later this week to recap Wednesday through Sunday of our week, including our day of travel home! So stay tuned :)

Thanks for stopping by for Part 1!
Have a wonderful day!

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...
