Day in the Life: Summer edition

Happy Thursday Ya'll!
Today I am sharing a day in the life, summer edition! I love going back and reading these to see just what we have kept the same and what we have changed up over the years! I documented a day in our life last week on Thursday, and it was a pretty busy day!

Up bright and early with hubby, baby wakes up to eat and then goes back to sleep, and hubby gets ready for work

I drink a glass of water to start my day off

and read some news and important school related stuff since school starts back the first week of August

at 7:10 the two toddlers come downstairs

and Ri falls asleep on the couch for a few minutes

at 7:40 I let the pup out to eat and go to the bathroom and to just play in the backyard before it got too hot out

and made myself some coffee!

After fixing my cofee, I got the kids cereal and OJ which they chose for breakfast this morning

and ran upstairs to make my bed

and start laundry

and brush my teeth.

By this time Skyler was fussing in his swing instead of just talking with Char so I took him upstairs for a diaper change and to get him dressed

and fed him his bottle

Skyler then went into his crib to play with his toys

so I could switch out laundry

and put away the kids laundry

This boy was playing while I did laundry

and Skyler went down for some chill time

I finished up folding and putting away the laundry

and had another basket already ready to go. #laundryneverends

Char worked on her sight words

and at 9:45 I finally ate something for breakfast

and opened my laptop to start checking emails and reading blogs

This little one decided he wanted to play with toys

and Char and I worked on some school work, to keep it fresh in her mind before she starts kindergarten :)

After working for a good hour I went downstairs and loaded up the dishes from breakfast

and put the bottles in some hot water

and once again was back in the laundry room for laundry

but this time I had to actually fold it since i was down two piles now

Skyler woke up and needed to eat

and then he got to play on his animal mat

and these two read library books with mom

:)

After reading and playing for a little bit we made our way downstairs for rice and hot dogs

and this little got to play with his toys while he sat with us at the table
He is so stinking cute :)

We worked on sitting up

and then finally it was nap time, for all three kiddos

at nap time I washed bottles, put lunch dishes in the dishwasher, and got my grocery shopping list together as well as browsed around different websites

Skyler woke up for another bottle

and then i loaded all three kiddos into the car and we headed to meet daddy at the grocery store

my sweet girl

little baby feet on the door. Scott was having too much fun holding the baby

Normally I do grocery pick up, but hubby wanted to go with and since I was not intending to get a lot of things, I didn't make an order and we went to the store instead

7:30 we are back home and this little guy is eating sweet potatoes for dinner

and these two just had sandwiches and cookies for dessert since it was a late night grocery run kind of day

8:15 and this sweet boy is ready for bed

and asleep by 8:30

followed by these two munckins

being in bed and asleep at 9

After getting all the kiddos in bed, I made eggs burritos for hubby and I and then didn't take any more pictures of the night but I sat on the couch, watched a couple of shows, set our alarms for the next morning and went to bed about 11 pm.

So there you have it! A day in the Life with three kiddos ranging from 5 to 4 months! It's always hectic and busy but so worth it at the end of the day! I didn't manage to take any pictures the rest of the night but tried my best to remember during the day! Love living this life with my little family!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
