Life is crazy but fun!

Happy Thursday!
and long time no blog!
Boy how time is flying!
Last time I posted we were celebrating a friend turning 4, and my hubby, and now we are in October and have celebrated Riley turning 4 and my birthday! Life has been all sorts of hectic, with my school, Scott's school, family coming into town, all the activities for Charlie's school and just taking time to be present with the kids. I just finished up midterms and am back to the homework and writing papers grind!
Here are a few pictures from the month of September and into October to get back into posting!

It has started to get cooler finally, since here in the south we really don't get a fall when it starts haha
so as a result we have been playing outside more after dinner to get last minute wiggles out and to enjoy the fresh air!

We celebrated this sweet boy turning 4, and I just cant believe it! It honestly feels like just yesterday he was born, and I always say that but with Ri it just really does feel like it! I cannot believe he has grown up before my eyes!

On my birthday we were all losing our marbles so we all took naps! You can see Char on the bottom and Ri looks like a pile of blankets but he is in the middle right, and Sky, is on the bed.
I got to study for an hour, and then I crashed hard right next to Skyler on the bed, one so he wouldn't fall off, and two because I was so tired! It was the best birthday with my babies!

A little update on this sweet boy! He is crawling, and all over the place! He is pulling up on everything, has two bottom teeth he got back when he was 5 months old and is now getting two top teeth! It's been a long week of no sleep nights 😴
He will be 8 months old on the 17th this month and it is his first October! So excited for all the memories about to be made!

Char is making a pumpkin book character for class, so we bought little pumpkins for the house to paint and we painted pumpkins last night before dinner! As stressful as it is to keep paint off two kiddos, it was a blast seeing them be creative too.
If you can see the book in the corner, you know which character she chose 😛

So there you have it, life is incredibly busy, and being present with these kids is important too! They are growing up quick, and I just can't wrap my head around it! Loving these days, even if they are driving me mad too.

Have a wonderful Thursday!
Thanks for stopping by!

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
