Now its Mommy time!

I wanted to start a new blog, so I can get away from all the drama and craziness of my past. Marrying Scott was the best decision in the world and I'm so blessed to say we have been married for almost a year and a half now....(December is a year and a half). Our beautiful baby girl Charlotte Faith is 7 months old and getting more and more beautiful as the days go by. She is becoming more and more mobile, and soon she will probably be walking (based off the fact that she is pushing up already!) She loves crawling now that she has the hang of it, and loves crawling to Mommy when I go pick her up from Mimi's house (That is my mom/her grandmother) after I'm done with school.

Yes I said school. I'm finishing up my last year of college after taking last year off as a result of losing Rebecca. I traveled the country with my husband for 7 months and took care of the house waiting for Charlotte to arrive. It's been a hectic 7 months of late nights, early mornings, doctor visits, and shots but her smiles, coos, and saying Mama makes everything all the better.

Now its time for me to watch my tv shows I missed and just sit back and relax until I fall asleep.
Hoping Charlotte sleeps all night and doesn't end up waking up part way through the night like she sometimes does when she realizes she is alone in her room. Fingers crossed

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
