Mommy Life

I told myself I would do this post last week, but seeing as we have been away from home and are still away from home I've just now gotten around to writing this post!  On Sunday June 14th we hosted a gender reveal. It wasn't a huge party and seeing as four people cancelled the morning of, it only lasted an hour and was just my mom and dad and my sister and her boyfriend. I love that it was just family! Small and simple! Just the way I like it. Charlotte ran around with Mimi since we have been away from home, she doesn't see her very often     We drove back from Nashville, got back an hour before the party and threw it all together. I was still setting up when everyone arrived but seeing as it is family they didn't care! They were just happy to finally be finding out the secret. The week down at the beach was definitely much needed and great! Charlotte and I enjoyed the pool, shopping and relaxing and just having fun away from home! Then we drove home, not expecting to go anywhere for a week when in fact that Monday Charlotte and I drove back down to pick Scott up and we took a family road trip out to Kansas to pick up a truck for Scott. Then we drove all the way home to have a gender reveal party. Then Scott had to return to work. It's been a crazy busy hectic couple of weeks but for now, Charlotte and I are celebrating being home by relaxing! Yesterday was crazy busy full of errands but today we are relaxing and maybe going the pool later! Lots of pictures today! This weekend was spent at home resting and relaxing. We were originally going to go to the beach to celebrate our anniversary early, however that did not happen since Scott was not feeling so good. So we stayed home and enjoyed a much needed relaxing weekend. Now we are down at the beach for the week, while Daddy works! It should be a great week, and even though it is supposed to rain, maybe it will break a little and allow us to have a few hours at the beach each day!
