Let's talk!

Yesterday was exhausting and so I skipped posting on my blog because I needed to focus on being with the kiddos! Our four month old is currently teething and going through sleep regression and our toddler is just being a toddler and crying and whining and not being happy if she doesn't get her way! So yesterday I focused on the them instead of blogging! I'll do my weekend recap tomorrow instead so stay tuned for that! :)

Today I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika and doing Let's Talk!

Today we are talking about our resolutions, goals and what you're looking forward to!

I blogged my resolutions in goals already so you can check that out here:

What I'm looking forward to:

1) getting a house! Having a bigger space will help out tremendously and being able to decorate and do what I want with my space is something I'm really looking forward to!

2) this girl turns 2 in two months! I'm in planning mode for her birthday party and while I'm sad she is almost two I'm looking forward to her growing and being even more independent and loving and fun! She is such a blessing to me and I love watching her grow up! So adventures with her are something I'm looking forward to!

3) I'm looking forward to seeing this little boy develop and grow! I'm also looking forward to his first birthday in Septemeber and yes, I'm sort of already planning his big birthday bash! It's so super early since he's only four months but I can't wait! :) okay i can, I don't want my boy to get too old too quickly but I look forward to his personality and sweetness coming out even more!

4) I'm looking forward to more time spent with my husband! Moving will put us closer to his work which means I will get to see him more and more and I will be able to spend some time planning date nights and such because we will know his schedule and be won't have to drive four hours to get home on weekends! I'm looking forward to more time with him!

There's a lot that is exciting this year! But I'm definitely looking forward to slowing down and enjoying my little family of four! 2015 was a great year but it was jam packed and busy! This year it's the year of being better and enjoying the small things!

Here's to a great 2016! What are you looking forward to this year?

Next time we are talking all things guys! Husbands, sons, boyfriends, whoever is in your life!

Have a great Tuesday!

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday! I wont lie, today is a lot like my dish towel says: We had all the plans to go exploring and do something productive this weekend, but I only managed to clean the entire kitchen on Friday afternoon while the babies were napping! Here is a a bit of our weekend:  Friday morning started out with two monkeys jumping on the bed bright and early!  I love how they wake up so happy in the morning Riley got his 15 month shots on Thursday so I was fully expecting a grump and a half and got a very happy smiley baby boy instead!  We practiced blowing kisses We snuggled and we ran around with our backpack of toys Mommy did not unpack from the doctor's visit.  Saturday we spent lots of time snuggling on the couch, napping, and watching cartoons and just relaxing before hitting up the grocery store for a big trip. We got home late enough it was a sandwich for dinner kind of night.  Sunday we had plans to go out and ab...

Weekend Recap on a Tuesday! :)

So I was trying to get this posted yesterday but the littles decided they wanted to test Mommy yesterday and not allow me to get anything done. By the time both kids were in bed for the night I was so tired I just went straight to bed instead of having some "me" time. This weekend started out running errands and going to the park! We haven't been to the park since August when I was put on bedrest! Our newest park member! She learned to climb the slide from her Aunt. She watched her climb up and just had to do it herself The park can be exhausting for little boys!  Scott got home late, late Friday night like 12:30 am and we went straight to bed because he had to be up and out the door for a class at 9 am. He was gone until 4:30 and as soon as he got home Charlotte would not leave his lap! Even with baby Riley sitting there. We watched football all day, and even late into the night, since Saturday is devoted to college football! The ...
