Weekend Recap on a Wednesday!

Good morning! Happy Wednesday! Halfway done with this week! I cannot believe January is over after this week! It feels like it should be early January still! It's flown by! My 4 month old is currently needing constant attention and the toddler wants the same amount because if brother gets attention she wants it to so it's been a busy week so far!

Here's our weeknd recap!

Scott made it back very very late Friday night so he had the weekend off after such a stressful few days! It was so nice having him with us for two days instead of just one!

Friday started off with cartoons for Charlotte and a nap for the little! Of course it had to be on mommy though or it just wasn't happening! This momma doesn't mind though

After a nap we ate and had a chewing frenzy! He's teething so bad this week we had to get him a teether to throw in the fridge!

Charlotte was a great big sister and held brother's hand to help him feel better!!

Then she read him a story and he absolutely loved it!

This munchkin passed out while laying down! One minute he was cooing and laughing and talking, the next he was asleep!
Friday Riley spent a good portion of the day in just a diaper because he would scream and cry with clothes on! Charlotte and I didn't get out of pajamas! Both kiddos got baths and fresh jammies then to bed for them while I kept an eye on the weather and roads for Scott!

Saturday morning smiles from the little man! He moved as I took the picture but I couldn't not post that smile!

Me and my little girl at lunch! We drove down further south to Brunswick for the day to get lunch and do some shopping! It was freezing but it was a nice family outing!

The restaurant was beautiful and unique and hubs had the boy while I kept the girl! Divide and conquer! :)

Riley woke up from his nap like where am I? It was the cutest!

After eating we fed these guys! This was the best part!

Scott and Charlotte did the feeding while I held Riley and snapped a few pictures then headed back in! The wind was ridiculous and it was freezing so he was bundled but only out for so long!

Charlotte loved it so much and didn't want to leave! Definitely something to go back and do when it is warmer!

After lunch, and alligators and an epic toddler tantrum we went to the mall! He is such a good shopping buddy! He just loves looking at mommy while I push the stroller!

Me and the hubs goofing off in the car on the way back!

It was so crazy to see all the work trucks headed back south! The north was still being hammered by snow but Florida was being hit by heavy rain so I'm sure they had to divide up and send some help to Florida too! When we got back we ordered pizza and watched movies while Charlotte played and Riley rolled between us! He'd getting better and better! I'm trying to get a full video but he doesn't seem to want to cooperate!

Sunday was spent wearing new sunglasses,

Napping and smiling
Wearing Boots, a north face, dress and sunglasses to go house hunting

Working on our thumbs up

And laying in bed with two kids watching football! They discovered feet too!

It was a nice family weekend spent exploring, sleeping and enjoying having time with Scott! I'm so very thankful he made it out of that storm safely and didn't get stuck!

One more night down here then we are headed back home! It's been fun but it's definitely time to have a little bit more space! Being all in one room hasn't been awful but the tantrums have been quite epic because they feed off of each other! I will try blogging before we leave tomorrow but if it doesn't happen just check back in for my Friday Favorites!

Have a great Wednesday!

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...
