Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!

Today it is all about how to win your heart!

In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!

Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day!

What is different about our love story is we traveled in a truck the first 7 months of our marriage. We were in each other's face 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and living in a space the size of a twin bed is not easy, but for us it was amazing! We got so close those 7 months, and quickly learned our quirks! Traveling the country together is another way he won my heart! Showing me the country we live in when I had never left my home state of Georgia was amazing! I learned so much and got to spend a lot of quality time with my love. Now that I am home with two kids it is hard for me since he is gone for work so much, so when we get to take the time to travel, even if we go just an hour away somewhere, it still is amazing and definitely rekindles that fire that we had when we married each other!

Some other random things he does to win my heart,
1) he does the dishes, without me asking *cue heart swooning*,
2) he cooks dinner when he is home,
3)he always makes Sunday breakfast and it is delicious,
4) Scott is such a hardworker, and after a long week of work, he comes home and is an amazing father to our children and is a loving husband to my crazy! He supports and loves this family so much and that definitely makes me melt
5) most importantly he makes me laugh! He loves to act like a little kid and have me crying I'm laughing so hard!

We are such a perfect pair I wouldn't want to be doing life with anyone else!

Next time it is all about our favorite Pinterest pins! Oh how I love Pinterest! How did we ever life without it before? There are so many great things on there!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great Tuesday!

XOXO

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...
