2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!

It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up!

Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy!

October

October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!

Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day

and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor

Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms

and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.

Quick family photo before bed! Love this crew!

We went to the Fall Festival at Char's school and got face paintings

and did all of the dress up activities starting with Ariel, a gnome, and Catboy

doing a halloween hike!

We did the Corn Maze/Pumpkin Patch early this year and it was gorgeous weather. Not too hot and not too cold and all three kids had such a blast!

First time at the pumpkin patch!

My three little pumpkins

By the afternoon it had warmed up and we took our jackets off and enjoyed the sunshine

and is it halloween if you don't have matching pjs?

Next activity, strolling through downtown getting candy and treats from our local businesses.
A witch, a gnome and catboy!

We met up with friends and had an absolute blast!

our final activity of a crazy busy October was going around our neighborhood on Halloween and visiting houses. We met up with some of Charlotte's friends and just went house to house for about an hour before we were just done. It was hot, and all of the mosquito's were out so it was pretty miserable.

November

We played hard at home

and is it real life if we don't include the mounds of laundry that come from a family of five?

Breakfast dates on a chilly morning with the crew

and we made a homemade giving tree costume for Favorite book character day at school!

We wore bucket on our heads

Had lunch with our favorite girl at school!

and took the best naps in the living room on the blow up mattress

For Thanksgiving Break, I scheduled our dentist appointments and we traveled up to Athens for a few days and got to play at all of our favorite parks

and run around and be wild for a few days!
we took some pictures of Skyler since my sister took the other two kiddos 6 month photos

and we celebrated Thanksgiving with my side of the family!

We went to the local zoo with Mimi and had a blast looking at all of the Christmas decor they had out

and the kids favorite was the unicorn, especially Charlotte

walking with our favorite person ever to the playground!

This little guy was getting restless in the drive home and so while we were parked and stretching he *pretended to drive the van!

December
We started our December out quickly

Char was Mrs. Claus in a play

and it was the cutest thing ever!

Skyler got to experience his first Christmas and he was so excited about the tree

matching pajamas is so much fun with three

and these two decorated there little Christmas tree

and we made a gingerbread house

We took a picture with Santa Claus

and had lots of snuggles on the couch together

and the oldest two got to help Daddy make his awesome sugar cookies

We did lots of crafting and made Christmas cards by hand for Daddy and these two had a blast being able to paint and color and make a mess

This little loves to look out of the window

and Christmas started early at 4:30 when we woke the oldest kiddos up to open a few gifts before daddy left for work

a couple hours later this little woke up

and got to open his first Christmas gifts as well!

Pajamas in front of the tree on Christmas day!

Making more cookies to take up to my families where we drove up to celebrate Christmas

The P.J. Masks Wicks Edition, and the kids were so excited that Skyler can be gecko now!

The cutest matching brothers

and my three loves!

We had a wonderful, busy, but hard year! I am so blessed to be doing life with these three!
2020 has been a rough year on everyone and we are blessed to have our health and each other during this rough time.

Have a wonderful day, stay safe and healthy!
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that! ...

Show and Tell Tuesday: School Photos

Happy Tuesday! Today I am joining Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday's and today we are showing Worst School Pictures! I have a combination of good and bad school pictures just to mix it up a little bit!  Little baby Cat right before Pre-K!  Back in 2005, I was in middle school and going through a short hair and converse phase where I wore a lot of black and tried to fit in with a certain group of people! I was such a goof And Throwing it back to 2004! Aren't I just cute?!  Senior Year of High School  Senior Year pictures! I had ridiculously long hair that didn't like to cooperate for pictures! Then I chopped all of my hair off before going off to college Kept it short second year of college And finally grew it out and even colored it, I was in a rebellious stage it seemed! Those are my worst and best school pictures! I don't have too many pictures from my school days just because everything was thrown away when I lef...

Life Lately!

Happy Monday! Its a little life lately post to catch up on our past week! I started back to school for my Masters, Scott started his senior year of undergrad and life has gone crazy!  This little is working on sitting up, and finding all of his toys that he didn't know he had until he became mobile. He isn't crawling but he is really good at rolling himself around the place!  With sister in school all day these two are becoming best friends! I'll catch Skyler pulling R's hair, but I will also catch them laughing and playing and reading together! It's the sweetest little bond!  He enjoyed rolling himself underneath his crib a lot, all while I was sitting in the room with him! He loves to explore, even when it means momma has to rescue him from under the bed :P Afternoon cartons, goldfish and playing with toys We have been reading lots of books lately, we are going to the library this week to get some books but Ri has enjoyed reading wha...
