Rainy days and updates on life

Happy Wednesday! Halfway through the week! Yay

Yesterday we had an early morning with a Doctor's appointment for Riley to get his shots updated! First time at a new doctor since we moved and it is safe to say I love them! They were all so very sweet and helpful and didn't mind that my toddler was just a bit on the wild side! She was super hyper yesterday, despite having to be up and out of the door by 8:30. Riley is healthy and growing well, and is not updated on his shots. He goes again next month for his nine month check-up but no shots necessary! Thank goodness!

We had to buy some shorts for Charlotte since we now live in warmer weather and she has no shorts! How can that be? The girl has everything haha! Carter's was having a super awesome sale so I grabbed four pairs that she can wear all summer and might go back and get Riley some later this week!

Busy busy Tuesday! It didn't help that the sky fell out and it poured. The most rain I have seen since we moved in! Our circle was flooding and we have our own little waterfall coming off our house! We are now looking into a rain barrel or something to deflect the rain from the front sidewalk! So much fun!

Crazy right?!

The rest of the week should be a little less running around and a lot more playing. We have a chance of rain all week and storms supposed to be hitting this weekend, so lots of inside time for us! I've got a mountain of laundry to tackle and some ideas running through my head to organize the office! I am swimming in papers and need to declutter and find a home for everything in here! Lots of cuddles, cartoons and cleaning coming up in this house! :)
I hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

XOXO

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...
