Life Lately after an unexpected break!

Hello Again Blogging World!

I am finally back! I took an unexpected break due to some family problems that turned into just spending all the time with my littles and just enjoying being away from social media for a little while! I have been soaking up all the time I can with them and just really focusing on family life! So now I am back with a little Life Lately, weekend recap post for y'all!

Grab a cup of coffee, sit back and enjoy! :)

Charlotte tried out the skateboard for a little ride! She didn't last long but it made the most adorable picture!

This little is pulling up more and more and is starting to cook with his sister on her play kitchen! He is getting to be so big! Charlotte looks like she is pouting but she was just playing with the pile of toys that surround her on the floor :)

We saw a turtle crossing our neighbors yard, and so we went out to look at it! She was beautiful!

Charlotte has started to blow bubbles on brother's back while they are playing! It is the cutest thing!

Riley has started to wrestle with sister if she is on the floor! He is such a loving sweet baby boy!

Naps have been awesome around here lately! Two hours at the minimum! These kiddos are playing hard and sleeping better and better!

We have had our fair share of storms lately! They have been intense, and even took our cable and power out once already!

This boy got new pjs! He is just the cutest little!

We went to the zoo and I got to pet a sting ray!

Charlotte loves animals so it was only right to take a selfie with one

Riley enjoying being strolled at the zoo!

We found an elephant statue so of course we had to get Charlotte's picture with it! Her daddy was standing with her just in case she fell.

I love otters so getting the chance to see on was fun!

These littles got a sandbox on Father's Day. Scott really wanted to build things with the girls for Father's Day so that is what he did. He build a sandbox and a dog house.

I also worked on a project! I took all the pine straw out of our front flower garden and replaced it with river rocks! It looks so good and the plants are no longer dying because they are getting good water now!

This is a before picture, and only part of it because I took this picture of Charlotte haha, but you get to see what it looks like with the massive amounts of pine straw that was just thrown down.

I posted this on my Snapchat, he makes the funniest faces!

This little got a new book from her Mimi! She was super excited!

She loves sitting in Mommy's chair while watching cartoons! She is such a goof sitting with her feet up like that!

She also loves one on one time with Mommy and brother! She has been having some issues lately adjusting to the two new people in our house and her behavior has hit the fan, so this day she was excited to just spend time with Momma and brother alone. We went to Target to get a few things and to pay the phone bill at the same time and she didn't cry or throw a tantrum once! I love when she smiles! :)

More early morning wrestling matches

That lead to napping on the swing

We came in right away though because it was just too hot to enjoy being outside

My breakfast dates! I love these three more than words

My girl ready to eat some yummy breakfast!

Enjoying a walk on the beach

This little loves watching the waves

Sitting in the spot we got married three years ago! Oh how much fun we are having at life
This little was enjoying her milkshake that was larger than her. She had to stand in the chair to drink it!

He tried a drop of lemonade and this was the face he made. He was immediately laughing afterwards so I knew he was okay but that is just the cutest face, but looks like he is really hurting.

We saw a dolphin while walking around River Street and I got very excited since that is the closest I have been to one in quite a while. Charlotte enjoyed seeing them too!

So life has been lots of cuddles and adventures, reading books and napping! We are really soaking up the summer and enjoying each other and trying to do a lot in a short amount of time! I am definitely excited for a weekend around the house soon, but first we are celebrating Fourth of July, but staying local, so no crazy amount of driving hopefully! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and enjoy your Monday!
It feels so good to be back to blogging!

XOXO

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
