Slow and relaxed Weekend

Happy Monday! We are in full swing of school now! We had a laid back weekend, with not much going on!

We started our Friday off at the grocery store after dropping the girls off at school! These two were excited to be driving the buggy for a little while!

This little decided to refuse nap time so we played in the hallway for a little bit before sister woke up!

This little and I planted our sunflowers that Mimi sent us in the mail! She was such a good little helper!

Saturday we watched the Olympics, and took some pretty awesome naps on the couch!

Charlotte was next to me on a pillow, but I didn't get to take a picture of her, since I couldn't move my hand that direction!

After nap time we went to Dairy Queen for some ice cream because who doesn't love ice cream!?

Sunday was spent playing

and a very good nap for this little! He was fussing during pictures because he was ready to sleep!

These two ate good at dinner and played a little bit longer before we went down for bedtime! They love to play together and I love that they have such a great bond!

We had a pretty boring weekend this weekend, but it was nice to just slow down since the first week of school was so hectic!

Some much needed family fun!

It's been a bit hectic the last few days! We got up and went to church Sunday morning for the first time at a new church. The pastor was so funny and made a new church less scary for me! Then Charlotte went to Mimi's for a few hours and Scott and I ran a few errands, cleaned out the truck, and went to the pool hall to play a few rounds before going to get her. I don't know what it is about the pool hall but it always is a place we enjoy going, without baby of course! After we picked Charlotte up, we went home and relaxed for a few hours and watched tv and played COD:ghosts!( Another one of our couple things) Then I packed a bag for Charlotte, did Scott's laundry, and cleaned up the house. Finally I packed my bag. Why am I packing bags and cleaning up the house you ask? Well, Charlotte and I are with Scott this week going to Florida. Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that!

Weekend Recap: This Weekend Edition

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a good Monday! We certainly did! We did not run around like crazy people and got Charlotte's big birthday gift from Momma and Daddy yesterday so all is on track for our princess turning 3 on Sunday! This past weekend started out slow with playing with all of our toys and stuffed animals and taking lots of naps on the momma Saturday was spent cleaning, taking out the garbage to the dump and buying groceries. So Saturday we spent just getting ready for the week and taking care of everything we needed to get done for a busy week that we are currently in. We also took one more day of rest to recuperate from the stomach bug and allergies that made the rounds through our house. Sunday we got out of the house because it was not too hot and not too chilly and it wasn't raining so it was the perfect day to go to the flea market.
