Weekend Recap: All of the Fall activities

Happy Monday Ya'll! Our weekend was busy and fun and filled with all of the fall/Halloween activities! We started out on Thursday at the corn maze/pumpkin patch! It was just the babies and I this year, but I am okay with that. We had such a good time!

These two were the best and held hands the whole time in the maze. Since it was a smaller farm the corn maze was perfect for little ones so we only hit one dead end.

We also rode the hay ride

And I fully realized this boy needed his bangs cut at this exact picture! He wanted nothing to do with sitting still but we somehow got through it! I will do a more in depth post later this week so stay tuned for that!

Friday we woke up from naps a grumpy race car driver and a happy Queen Elsa!

I did not tell the kiddos we were going trick or treating at our local festival so when this girl found out she was all smiles!

She was such a big girl and got to sit in the Fire Truck that was there, and it was bright pink which she absolutely loved!

Later that night we had to clean up all of our toys and the only way this little boy would help was by picking them all up with his mouth and bringing them over, and this momma did not argue because he was helping and that is all I wanted #boymom

Saturday morning we were up early and outside enjoying the cool air

and Mimi came for a visit!

While the kiddos napped, we set up a surprise for them. Mimi brought a tent for us to enjoy!

I multitasked and decorated our van for Trunk or Treating with out street, and also watched my Dawgs stomp the Gators! #GoDawgs

Char enjoyed walking around with her bestie

Our group that we walked around with! I was pushing around my friends baby since she was carrying her toddler because he wanted nothing to do with trunk or treating! Momma's helping other mommas because #toddlersarerough
Trunk or Treating was such a blast! It was fun having such a small group of people get together and give the kiddos something to do on Saturday night, and since Halloween is on Tuesday we got to trick or treat early so Halloween night is not as stressful if we don't go everywhere or out at all!

Sunday morning we were up super early and playing in the tent already!  Mimi came over and hung out just a little bit longer before she had to go back home!

Char had a rough time with Mimi leaving so in order to distract her we made the biggest mess possible! They enjoyed playing with all of the toys, and yes even though I threw a good portion of toys away we still have way too much!

We watched a few Halloween shows and this boy just wanted to cuddle the whole time!

After a good dinner of Chili we went back upstairs and cleaned all of the toys up! The kiddos did good and helped me out! Then it was off to dreamland!

We had such a good time hanging out with Mimi and doing all of the fall events this weekend! I cannot believe tomorrow is Halloween and then October is over. It definitely feels like we are getting into the colder months, I actually had to turn our heat on and we don't often get cold enough here to do that! We are soaking up all the cuddles under the covers to stay warm!
Have a great Monday! See you back here later this week for all the Pumpkin Patch/ Corn Maze goodness!

Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

Show and Tell Tuesday! House Tour 2016

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday! Today it is House Tour! I have always loved these posts, but have never participated in one because of the fact that we were in a two bedroom apartment, which was tiny for our family of four. This past April we bought our home and moved in and three months later we are finally here at this post and I am so excited to join along and invite you all into our home! It is still a work in progress and none of the walls have been re-painted but I am loving all the grey tones for now, it keeps the home neutral and cool until I feel like spicing things up! Come on in!  We are still decorated from Fourth of July, but here is the front entrance.  When you walk into our home this is the first thing you see. There is a hallway to the left of the staircase, and to the right is the dining room. This is our formal dining room! I need to do an updated tour of this room but for now I b...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...
