Weekend Recap on a Tuesday!

Hey Ya'll!

Welcome back! Today it is all about the fun we had this past weekend!

We had an action packed Friday! We played and played and played some more! We were up bright and early and outside playing with chalk and rocks

and then we played t-ball until Riley got smacked in the face

so we came inside for cuddles and lots of playing with our inside toys!

After lunch we went back outside and had some popsicles! Yum. :)

After naps and going back outside, it was miserable hot so we loaded up in the car and headed out for some ice-cream sundaes before dinner.... yes, i gave my kiddos ice cream before dinner and they still went home and ate a crazy amount for dinner. For once it worked out in my favor haha

He was very excited we were getting ice cream!

After dinner and ice cream it was off to the bathtub and then into bed!
Charlotte and I were up bright and early for Pre-K registration.

and she was over it by the time we were done, four hours later. It all worked out good though and Char will be starting in August! Ahhh, cue the momma tears again!
Unfortunately we missed soccer practice, but we got home right in time for Mimi and Grandpa to show up!

They have water bottles but somehow always end up stealing all of Mimi's water! We went out to Panera for lunch and then came back and played until we took some naps and then we made dinner and played outside some more. The rest of Saturday was spent chilling and relaxing with Mimi and Grandpa!

Sunday we were up bright and early for church!

Charlotte went right into her class no problem but Riley cries if we go towards the door so we just went back to the service and sat in the sanctuary for a little bit before heading into the hallway to watch the rest of service on the screen so this boy could walk around and play and look out the windows. I think the windows are his favorite part!

After church is a bit of a blur! We came home and had a delicious breakfast that my husband made for us and then the kids played with Mimi and grandpa while momma packed our bag.  Then we loaded up into our cars, Mimi and Grandpa had Charlotte and I had Riley and we took off for Mimi's house, since the kiddos and I had dentists appointments for Monday morning! After  a long drive through some pretty crazy heavy rain we made it and got to play and eat dinner before heading to the magic place to chill out and sleep.
(We call the hotel the magic place, it helped Charlotte understand we weren't leaving Mimi's but spending the night nearby without her freaking out when she was younger so that is what we call it now!)

My sweet babies love this hotel we stay at and getting to ride the elevator!

All nestled in bed waiting for mommy to put p.j.s  on them for bed!
Not soon after this they were dressed and asleep! It was the perfect way to end our weekend, all cozy in bed and resting our bodies!
It was a long weekend and an exhausting one, but we made it through it and made some awesome memories. Love doing life with these sweet babies!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Tuesday! See ya'll back here real soon!

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...

2019 Year In Review: Part 3

Hello!  It is such a hard time in the world right now. It has been a couple months since I last wrote, life has been busy, but while everyone is social distancing, staying home, and doing our part to get rid of this nasty virus I wanted to post some memories of last year to remember. October-December of 2019 were packed full of activities, and just going through the pictures is exhausting, so I have no idea how I even kept up! Grab a drink, and cozy up and I hope you enjoy! October  October started out with birthday naps. All three kiddos are in the same room, and I was laying on the bed with Skyler and we all napped and was just what this momma needed for her birthday!  Hubby brought me the most beautiful flowers for my day and we got booed, by a mystery neighbor Naps were had, especially in mommy's arms  and all of the kindergarten crafts occurred. We painted a pumpkin after her favorite book character Ferdinand.  Quick f...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday!  Today I am linking up with Andrea , Narci , and Erika for some Friday Favorites full of sunshine, walks, and playing outside! We have enjoyed getting out and playing and we had a five day weekend for St. Patrick's Day and we enjoyed every bit of it!  We have had gorgeous weather the past week and we have been soaking it up with all the park time and this little guy has been loving the warm weather too! He loves just chilling in his car seat while the older two run and get all the wiggles out!  We have also been taking an afternoon walk around our neighborhood and these kids are all about riding their bikes or running in front of the stroller while we do that! Getting out and watching these two have a good time is definitely a favorite!  Our little turned one month old a week ago! While it makes me sad that he is growing so fast, it is definitely a favorite to know he has been ours for four weeks now! It's been so muc...
