Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday!

Today I am recapping our weekend where we had a chill Saturday and didn't leave the house and a crazy Sunday where I feel like everything had to get done or today was going to be chaotic and unorganized!

Friday we picked Char up from school and just vegged out the rest of the night. We had our usual Pizza Friday and I even made a homemade cheese pizza that was gone before I could take a picture of it! #momwin because the kiddos ate it but #bloggerfail because I took no pictures haha

Saturday started out fast and loud! With two very active toddlers that have missed each other all week because school started back, my living room floor was gone within minutes of them being awake! Luckily they are good about picking up after themselves and cleaned up before bed!

I had one monkey that would not stop running and jumping on the couch and then going over to tackle his sister!

Luckily when daddy got home at noon,  we got to redirect that energy and play outside! I put Ri's hair up since its always in his face and immediately got a flashback to what I looked like as a little girl! My son looks exactly like me when I was little!

Yes we are wearing shorts and jackets. It has been in the 60s here and while it was windy it felt good enough to wear shorts while we were running around and cleaning!

While hubs was running garbage and cleaning out the garage, he found the missing piece to our pack n play that I have been trying to find for weeks now! So once the kiddos were in for some quiet time and hubs and I were upstairs resting, I finished putting the pack n play together and now baby #3 has a place to sleep!

Sunday started out slow, where Ri and I didn't get out of bed until 8:30! It was nice to be able to sleep in after getting up at 4 with hubs and then going back to sleep. Once we got up I made muffins for breakfast and we sat and watched Toy Story 3 until 10:30. Once the movie was over we started off running and didn't stop until 3!

These two were enjoying the beautiful weather after a rainy blah morning! It was in the upper 60s and while the college student made her many trips to her room with her stuff, since she moved back in to her dorm, these two played in the back seat and were talking to me through the open windows!

We also went grocery shopping and ended up going to two different stores, to get all of this weeks staple groceries!

By the end of our day, we were chilling watching the Saints vs Eagles game playing with all of our toys and just resting on the couch! Ri would run around and play and then come lay next to me with his cars! We had a late dinner of leftovers and passed out immediately at 8, meaning it was a good day!
Love this sweet boy of mine!

I always feel now that Char is in school, our weekends are never long enough and they fly by, so this weekend was the perfect mix of relaxing and chilling at home and being productive to make this week easier on everyone!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend as well!

This week my posting schedule will be a little bit different because I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday morning, so I will be posting again on Thursday instead and then Friday as usual. I hope everyone has a great Monday and catch you back here Thursday!
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Show and Tell Tuesday: Prom night!

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, and today we are talking all about Prom! Here are a few facts first before all the pictures of itty bitty high school me! 1) I dated the same boy from freshman year of high school until senior year of high school so he was my date for his junior and senior prom which was my sophomore year and junior year. 2) I went with my best friend my senior year. I had a good time, but missed my boyfriend pretty much the whole time. 3) I went all out for my first prom sophomore year, with my hair, nails and prom dress and then again my senior year. 4) I only participated in senior skip day, which really isn't a thing but seniors do it anyways at my high school, my senior year. My best friend and I met super early on the day of Prom for breakfast and coffee and then just spent the rest of the day together doing random things like shopping, then getting our nails done with one of our other friends, and then ...

Show and Tell Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm linking up with Andrea and doing Show and Tell Tuesday!  Today it is all about how to win your heart!  In the four years I have known Scott he has always known how to make my heart go pitter patter! Whether he is sitting with our children and playing and laughing with them, or on a pizza date where we both look awful because it is so spur of the moment because the kids went to Mimi's for the first time in a couple months we rush out so fast without showers, he knows how to speak to my heart!  Scott and I will be married three years this coming June and in those three years we have been married he goes above and beyond with speaking to my heart! Whether it is a random coffee or energy drink that he brings me while I'm chasing the kiddos, or just telling me to go to the bookstore and read a few magazines, I got the kids for a couple hours, it is those things that win me over day after day! What is different about our lo...

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Ya'll!  I am so glad it is Friday! It has been. rough week for this momma, the kiddos have been loud and crazy but have been so good this week but everything else is just super crazy haha!  Today I am linking up for Friday Favorites with Narci , Andrea and Erika !  So here are some random favorites that happened this week! Cuddles with this sweet boy have been a favorite this week! I have been having on and off contractions and lots of pain so I have been bed ridden for a good portion of the week and this little has hung out with me and watched cartoons! Cuddles are definitely a favorite!    Trying to let this boy in the house more and more since its been chilly outside.  While the training process has been rough, he has started to snooze in the afternoons and those are definitely a favorite!  Breakfast conversations with these two are a favorite from this week! It is always non-stop with these t...
