Weekend Recap: Sick kiddo

Happy Monday!  I had every intention of writing a blog post today, but my three year old is sick and has been since early Saturday morning! It's been a rough weekend of laundry and making sure he is doing ok, plus doing everything else like cooking, cleaning up the messes, and taking care of the newborn, so today I am just posting this update and will plan on blogging Wednesday and hopefully my sweet middle child is feeling better! Wish us luck, this stomach bug has just got to go!  Keeping ourselves going with puppy filters! :)

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday!  Today I am linking up with Andrea , Narci , and Erika for some Friday Favorites full of sunshine, walks, and playing outside! We have enjoyed getting out and playing and we had a five day weekend for St. Patrick's Day and we enjoyed every bit of it!  We have had gorgeous weather the past week and we have been soaking it up with all the park time and this little guy has been loving the warm weather too! He loves just chilling in his car seat while the older two run and get all the wiggles out!  We have also been taking an afternoon walk around our neighborhood and these kids are all about riding their bikes or running in front of the stroller while we do that! Getting out and watching these two have a good time is definitely a favorite!  Our little turned one month old a week ago! While it makes me sad that he is growing so fast, it is definitely a favorite to know he has been ours for four weeks now! It's been so much fun to wa

Weekend Recap!

Happy Tuesday!  We have had a busy weekend and have not had school since Thursday! The kiddos go back to school tomorrow so we have one last day of running around and making all of the messes at home before its back to the routine!  Thursday  We celebrated no school for five days by going to the playground after school! These kiddos had a great time playing and running around and it was such a beautiful afternoon we walked on the water and Riley pointed out the turtles in the water! He was so excited :) Friday  Friday we were up bright and early  and took our daily walk in the morning  and played with all of the toys! We spent a good portion of our Friday outside! It was such a good day!  The rest of Friday was spent going to the dollar store for party supplies and then going to see Daddy who had a busted tired and was stuck on the side of the road, but was luckily ok. We took him a drink since it was in the lower 80s, and got to spe

Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday Ya'll!  I don't know about ya'll but daylight savings is completely throwing me off! With it being daylight at 7:30 last night to it being pitch black taking Char to school this morning my body clock is off, but only a little since I am up at all hours with a new baby!  Three weeks ago we welcomed our newest little, and even though I am exhausted I am enjoying the cuddles and snuggles from our newest little guy! We are slowly getting into a routine, and the oldest two are still enjoying little Skyler still so that is always a positive sign! I for sure though Ri was going to lose it because he doesn't have mommy all to himself, but all the messes and cartoons are helping him through it! Plus I am starting to be able to spend some time with Ri once Skyler has eaten and can be put down! This weekend was a good one! I got to have some one-on-one time with my girl, and got to spend some time cleaning up my house a little, and Scott made some delic

Weekend Recap: all the cuddles!

Happy Monday Ya'll! Back to the blogging world after having Baby #3!  Little boy is officially two weeks old as of yesterday, and I am two weeks post surgery! It has been an interesting transition over here! My mom was here to help with the two toddlers while I was recovering right after surgery and it was such a blessing! I didn't have to worry about them one bit because they were able to go to school, have snacks, play outside and just have some good quality time with their Mimi. Unfortunately a week flew by and Mimi had to leave. That was probably the hardest thing, just because with Skyler having a few health issues I was always with him and didn't really get to see my mom much! Luckily she will be back in a couple weeks to celebrate Char turning 5, um what?!, and we will get to see each other then! With that being said, getting two toddlers and a newborn ready in the morning after being up all hours of the night has been hard. I have managed but it has been a l
