Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday Everyone! Today I'm linking up with Andrea, Erika , and Narci for Friday Favorites! Just a random assortment of favorite things from the past week that have made me smile, or made me laugh, or just been something good! This boy is starting solids very slowly so he is starting to sit in a high chair! His face is my favorite because he is just so darn cute! I love when he smiles! This girl loves her new sunglasses! Her wearing them is a favorite because she grabs them whenever we leave to go somewhere and she knows she needs her sunglasses! Such a cutie and smart little girl :)  And speaking of smiles, he is the best grocery shopping buddy! He loves looking at momma and smiling while I shop and get try to figure out how to put things in the grocery cart with him in it.  Another favorite, is him sitting in my lap and reading his books he got from Mimi and Grandpa for Christmas! He loves the crinkly sound and the different things that come of

last minute return home

So yesterday afternoon Scott called and said we have to pack up and leave, I have to deliver tomorrow morning! Cue running around like a crazy person with a very upset 4 month old who wouldn't let me put him down. I had to pack up two weeks worth of stuff, throw dirty dishes in a doubled-up plastic bag, and feed Riley and change diapers before 4 o'clock. It was a rush, but I actually managed to get it done. Today I am spending time doing laundry, washing those dirty dishes and bottles, and catching up on cleaning and putting everything away! Plus I have to go to the grocery store to restock because we ate everything before we left town! Riley is napping finally, so I have a little time to write before he wakes up and I put Charlotte down for a nap! Then its off to the grocery store when she wakes up! Hopefully your Thursday is not quite as hectic, but is enjoyable! Check back in tomorrow for my Friday Favorites! XOXO

Weekend Recap on a Wednesday!

Good morning! Happy Wednesday! Halfway done with this week! I cannot believe January is over after this week! It feels like it should be early January still! It's flown by! My 4 month old is currently needing constant attention and the toddler wants the same amount because if brother gets attention she wants it to so it's been a busy week so far!  Here's our weeknd recap!  Scott made it back very very late Friday night so he had the weekend off after such a stressful few days! It was so nice having him with us for two days instead of just one!  Friday started off with cartoons for Charlotte and a nap for the little! Of course it had to be on mommy though or it just wasn't happening! This momma doesn't mind though  After a nap we ate and had a chewing frenzy! He's teething so bad this week we had to get him a teether to throw in the fridge!  Charlotte was a great big sister and held brother's hand to help him feel better!!  Then she read him a story and he ab

Let's talk!

Yesterday was exhausting and so I skipped posting on my blog because I needed to focus on being with the kiddos! Our four month old is currently teething and going through sleep regression and our toddler is just being a toddler and crying and whining and not being happy if she doesn't get her way! So yesterday I focused on the them instead of blogging! I'll do my weekend recap tomorrow instead so stay tuned for that! :) Today I'm linking up with Andrea and  Erika  and doing Let's Talk! Today we are talking about our resolutions, goals and what you're looking forward to!  I blogged my resolutions in goals already so you can check that out here:  Goals for 2016 What I'm looking forward to: 1) getting a house! Having a bigger space will help out tremendously and being able to decorate and do what I want with my space is something I'm really looking forward to!  2) this girl turns 2 in two months! I'm in planning mode fo

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday everyone! This post is so very late and I apologize for that! I've been up since 5:45 and have been watching weather and road closures all day because my husband had to drive all the way back from West Virginia in this nasty weather! He still isn't back yet but he's close so I have a few minutes to post and take a breather before I hit the maps again! The joys of being the wife of a truck driver, not only do I get to watch the kiddos but when my husband is in danger I go into overdrive and do everything such as worry, and make sure the roads he uses are not closing before he gets to where he needs to. He is one of the best and safest drivers I know but being his wife I still worry! I love him so very much! So now, here are a few of my favorites from this week! I'm linking up with these wonderful ladies so stop by their blog and anyone who linked up to see what their favorites are as well!  Him waking up smiling is my favorite! He's teething, and yes he

Life before nasty weather hits the East Coast!

All this nasty weather has me all kinds of stressed! With my hubby being a truck driver you can almost always know he will be somewhere I am not comfortable with him being! Currently he is up north where the snow and ice and blizzards are! He is trying so hard to get in and out as fast as he can but it's still so stressful knowing there are blizzard like conditions and he is in them! I bought him thermals and gloves for the first time this year so he wouldn't freeze in his truck! We are currently still away from home! With an apartment that doesn't warm up we aren't going to let our children freeze and get sick so for now we are still all in one room together! So far it's not too bad! The kids do wake up a lot more in the night but go back to sleep pretty easily! And it's so cute watching how close these two have gotten! Riley adores his big sister and last night at dinner was just the best! Riley was sitting in Scott's lap and Charlotte was next to Sc

Show and Tell Tuesday: "momfessional moments"

Today I am linking up with  Andrea   and doing Show and Tell Tuesday! Today we are talking about our "momfessional moments"! 1) When I was pregnant with Riley, Charlotte would get up and I would fix her a cup of milk, get her Cheerios for breakfast, bring her back to my bed and put her cartoons on. I would then sleep for another hour because getting out of bed was just too difficult for this momma! I was always super tired when I was pregnant with him, and luckily Charlotte would let momma sleep a little more!  2) I let Charlotte eat in the car! Sometimes it's the only thing that will get her to stop crying! I wasn't allowed to eat in the car as a kid and she's not allowed to eat in her Mimi's car but for me and for her daddy she is allowed to eat! I remember Scott giving her a bisquits to eat and we had to dump her car seat out it was so full of crumbs!  3) I am not the neatest person and my house is always a train wreck, up until the hus

Weekend Recap!

This weekend we spent a lot of time outside! It rained on Friday so we didn't do much except for make a Target run during a lull in the rain! Saturday it was gorgeous and sunny and 70 degrees so we soaked up the beauty and warmth! Sunday morning it rained so we loaded up for breakfast at Cracker Barrel which I apparently didn't take any picture of hahaha! Then we came back to the room for naps, then it was time to head to the beach! This visit was a special visit, not only was it the first of 2016 but it was Riley's first trip to the beach! He enjoyed riding around on mommy in the carrier and Charlotte splashed and ran around with Daddy! It was a great way to end our weekend!  Our little family of four! 😃😃 so blessed to have these three in my life!  It was a wonderful weekend! Definitely great for getting out of our room! We were all going a bit stir crazy I think! Can't wait to see what this week has in store for us! We are still away from home but might be returning

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday everyone! Today I'm linking up with these lovely ladies for Friday Favorites!  We left town Tuesday morning to escape the cold and being in the warmer climate is so wonderful! And to think in February we are moving down here permanently is definitely a favorite!  He fought a nap so hard Wedensday afternoon so we hopped in the car and took a drive. I gave him his little car and within 10 minutes he was fast asleep and holding his car tight! Such a cutie and definitely a favorite His monster Jammies are just the cutest!  These two have been very loving and kind and everytime they get a chance I see them talking, playing, and just enjoying time with each other!  The first thing Charlotte did when she and I got home from the grocery store was give Riley a hug! Then she hugged her daddy and went back to playing with Riley! It was the cutest and a favorite thing that happened this week!  His elephant is his favorite! He go
