Weekend in the Life: May 2019!

Happy Monday! This past weekend I tried my best to record a weekend in our life! I didn't remember to record everything but got a good bit of what we did! And goodness was it a jam packed weekend!
So grab a cup of coffee and enjoy!

So Saturday started off early! Baby boy woke up at 4:30 to eat, Hubby left at 5 to head to work and I took my coffee upstairs to the guest room to tackle the mountain of clean laundry that needed to be folded. At 5:45, I took my first picture of clean, folded laundry!

On my way downstairs, I saw the Full Moon and snapped a picture out the front window.

I watched youtube videos until Skyler woke up!

Sweet boy laid in his bed while Mommy made her bed

and then started a load of laundry!

and by 6:45 I was downstairs with all three kiddos! I changed Skyler

and then started warming his bottle

and got the kiddos some juice

Fed Skyler at 7:00

and then all three kiddos laid down and played and watched cartoons

Sky is on a Eat, Play, Sleep routine, and typically only lasts about an hour before he gets cranky

and then he has some chill out time before his nap

After getting Skyler down, I put the dog out with food and fresh water

put dishes away, put dirty dishes leftover from last night and put bottles in to soak

and then made myself a second cup of coffee

I then made eggs and the kids took half and then i used the rest for an egg burrito for myself!

While Skyler sleeps I try to get as many chores done as I can, so I started to put away laundry from our laundry baskets, because they are folded and clean but never put away right away

I also measured the kiddos again, and goodness are they growing up!

At 11:05 little mister woke up again to eat!

and then he chilled on the bed with mommy!

and these kiddos read books

Then it was time to head downstairs to make lunch for the older two, hot dogs are the absolute favorite, so that is what they had!

I put this little guy in his swing while I was making hot dogs

After eating, these two wanted to color

At this point in the day, it got crazy complicated. Scott got home from work about 2. Skyler wanted to eat again so I fed him, got the two kiddos dressed, and then we all loaded up into the van to head to lunch. Scott wanted some ice cream so we headed to Dairy Queen, then we headed to Walmart to get some clothes. After the chaos that was grocery shopping with two very hyper toddlers, I was worn out and on my last string.

At 5:15 Skyler ate again, and then I put him on his animal mat to play for a little bit

At 6 I woke Scott up who had laid down to rest, and then he went out to cut the grass, and this little guy came into the kitchen with mom while I made dinner

We had spaghetti and meatballs this night, since it was quick and easy and I just needed to get food into the kids. We ate dinner, and then I let the kids down to play and they were being so awful and mean to each other that at 7:25 I said nope and took them upstairs and put them straight to bed. They had not had naps, and it was a full moon and I was just worn out from all the crazy behavior, that I just needed them to go to bed!
Right after getting the older two to bed, I put Skyler down, which was early for him, but he was losing it, so he also went to bed early! With all the chaos of doing it all myself I took zero pictures, but thats ok the kiddos were too busy crying or screaming anyways

Once all three kids were in bed, I sat on the porch and watched the sun go down, and helped Scott finish up the yard work by sweeping all the grass off the sidewalk for him.

Sunday morning these two were up bright and early

and little bit slept until 7:30 after his 4 am bottle, so he was ready to eat!

Skyler went down for a nap, and I went outside to check on hubby who had been finishing up the grass and started power washing the house!

These two joined me outside and thought it was the best to get sprayed down with water!

After yard work all morning, we loaded up into the van and dropped some things off

and then headed to Publix for some chicken, because they have the best chicken.

We ended up with a few more items as well, like fresh raspberries and blueberries, some bell peppers

some baby bell cheese, and I'm going to try this slow cooker meal that they were selling.

Cheerios, Pickles

Cupcakes, bread and more fruit snacks, and of course the chicken!

Sweet little guy woke up smiling from his nap

and the toddlers were excited they got two new magazines

And I drank some coffee with whip cream in it, but still ended up falling asleep on the couch with baby sleeping too.

at about 4 we arrived at the local carnival to check it out, and headed straight for the dizzy dragons after getting tickets

then these two rode ride after ride after ride!

We went on the carousel

and waited in line for the ski dos

and this sweet little guy chilled with daddy the whole time

I have some cool kids who like roller coasters, and they rode this dragon three times!

On our way out we rode the carousel one last time!

After the carnival we loaded everyone up, and headed to Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat! Then we headed home for sandwiches, calling our Aunt Kayli and Mimi to say goodnights and then headed to bed!
Again, no pictures but i managed to get all three kiddos in bed by 9, so I took it as a win for this mom!

Then it was time to sit on the couch and eat the rest of the wings, and watch a show with hubby before heading to bed!

We had a super crazy weekend, but it was nice making memories with the kids and having hubby home for more than one day!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out a weekend in our life!

Here are my other day in the life posts! It is always so much fun for me to go back and look at just what all has changed!

Have a great Monday everyone!

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day to all! It's been a wonderful family weekend! Unfortunately our Memorial Day ended early, since Scott is now headed to work. He has to be in Miami, 7 am tomorrow! Yuck. Luckily Monday is almost over and we only have to make it until Friday until we see him again! Trying to stay positive and look at it as a good thing, not a bad. It is hard to see him leave, but I know he has to go to work. Charlotte was sad but luckily nap time was soon after he left so she transitioned into sleep fine. She will be upset when she gets up in a few but lots of cuddles, cartoons and playing until bed time will keep her preoccupied. We are headed to the beach this weekend, and then staying down there for the week while Scott works, but we will all be together and Mommy and Charlotte will be looking at houses while Daddy works so we will stay occupied with that and lots of pool time! Cannot wait until this week is over. May is almost over, then June is here! Cannot believe that! ...

Happy Tuesday! Today I am joining Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday's and today we are showing Worst School Pictures! I have a combination of good and bad school pictures just to mix it up a little bit!  Little baby Cat right before Pre-K!  Back in 2005, I was in middle school and going through a short hair and converse phase where I wore a lot of black and tried to fit in with a certain group of people! Show and Tell Tuesday: Top 10 pictures

Happy Tuesday! Today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday: Top 5 pictures edition! I am so excited to share my top photos, but lets be honest there is no way I could just choose five but I managed to keep it at ten! One Having our sweet girl is one of my top pictures! Seeing her rosy cheeks and hearing her little cry was one of the best moments of my life! Two Adventuring with this girl was fun. We went everywhere her first year of life, north, south, east, and west, we were always on the mood and her love of traveling and her cute smile is such a treasure. This picture just screams joy and I love it so much Three In 2015 we added this little peanut to our family, and it was also one of the best moments of my life! Just look at the little onesie! :)  Four We took family pictures in December 2015! Even though these two were so tiny and young they did so well and I cannot believe we got such good photos. I just love having photos...
